How to Become a Member

Anyone, whether a life-long Lutheran or new to the Christian faith, is asked to attend our membership class, Life with God @ Bethel. We cover ministries that are special to Bethel, take time to get to know each other, and then discuss Lutheran beliefs.

  • The next series begins on February 12, 2017 at 12:30 in room 232
  • Each series is 8 sessions which take place at the church
  • Childcare provided upon request (contact Treva Robertson at trobertson@gmail.com or 409-782-5693)
  • Each session is 90 minutes
  • Each session begins with a Bethel ministry presenter and a getting to know you question
  • Each session covers various aspects of Lutheran beliefs
  • Sessions take place immediately following the late service at 12:30 PM
  • A light snack is provided to help to get you through until you leave for lunch

We are asking that you attend at least 6 out of the 8 sessions if you are interested in becoming a member. We would love to have you come and find out more about Bethel. If you plan on attending, please contact Treva to confirm your attendance. For more information, please contact Treva at 409-782-5693.

Bethel Lutheran Church's Mission is declaring the Gospel to those who do not know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, calling them into faith, while sharing and strengthening the faith of our members and fellow believers.
